August 5, 1999: DESTINY DRIVES A BLACK MERCEDES

A few weeks ago, I was on vacation. For 11 days I was in France. If you didn't read it, click click boom...--->

September 14, 1999: HIATUS IN EXELCIS DEO

Man, I'm slow! I promised I should update these pages, but I've been quite busy, and haven't really felt for it. A few pals has commented on the French exposé, and thought it pretty fine, but maybe a tad to long. Or a bit too short. So let me just say a few things to get in gear again. I think I'm gonna try to write long stuff once in a while and hipshot comments quite often. This is what has been going on:

- went to stockholm, met my bro, his gf, my pals Jim & Charlotta, Catta and Micke.

- bought fabric for curtains, don'cha think that's MATURE?

- ate bibimbap. once. and kimchi/tofu soup. once.

- bought punk planet. thought it darn good. kudos to them adding Mimi Nguyen to their roster.

- borrowed a PB G3/400 with a DVD. do I have to say that it was a sweet li'l thing? i think not.

- watched hurlyburly, taichi master and the bride with white hair on aforementioned sweet thing.

- finally saw happiness, which was better than i had though, and i had thought it great!

- saw run lola run/lola rennt, which wasn't as good as i had thought. still, it was a fair effort.

- got blair witch project on vcd, but decided not to watch it.

- got a giant poster from my bro

- bought a portable record player for a song and a dance.

- brought out some "king" frank valdor records to play on the portable.

- did several posters for some friends newly opened bar/cafe/club

- did flyers & stuff for the aforementioned place

- did a poster for outdoor cinema

- started work on a website for some friends' band, circus flabbergast

- did flyers for the damn dj collective

- did a nice poster for a rawk'n'roll club & named the club stampede!

- had meeting about stampede with dj cäss and dj gutter. my new dj name for the club will possibly be dj pump.

- in order to fulfill some of the ideas for the new flabbergast site, I start mucking around with programs such as EIAS, EIAS Modeller, After Effects and Amorphium

- attended the opening of Ariman and got stone drunk, chatting to several and having a goooood time all in all.

- got fela's original sufferhead and expensive shit/he no road on cd

- went to smålands to see the hives, who rocked with gusto. saw miss piggy filming, but didn't wanna butt in. went to afterparty

- had dinner with friends, drinking stoli & beer, eating salted beef and creamed cabbage

- started reading Black Mass, but tired soon. started to read the latest eros comics catalog instead. looked at entropy8zuper & got hard. entropy8 suuure is SEXXY;)

- danced at a place with no dance floor. stumbled over a table. made several lewd advances. got pissed off at a guy. liqour talking, i reckon.

- had a slight operation on 14 september, taking a tissue sample and removing something that might have been a third nipple. got my first stitches. all my other scars are non-stiched

- bought the latest issue of magnet, which was ok. bought moshable, entertaining as per usual.

- marvelled at beautiful typefaces from Hoefler & FontFont

- ordered several books from amazon.uk, but didnt finish the order since their databases seem to be shitty at arithmetic. pity. i wanted to order some photo smut and some sf.

- saw star wars episode 1, and was actually impressed in a dumb kind of way.

- saw swingers again. 'you're so money, baby!'

- got very drunk on Ricard & beer and woke up in the hallway, fully clothed several hours later

- went to a li'l crawfish bash, eating, drinking and smoking cohibas

- tried fidel castro, and enjoyed it.

- almost fell in love with modesty blaise. again.

So there! More to come!
